THIS IS AN INTERMEDIATE PROJECT - the braid itself is not difficult, but engaging the beads in this project can be a little tricky. You will get the most enjoyment from this project if you have experience with a variety of braid structures.
The Laramie braid is not a traditional Kumihimo technique but you use the same tools and many of the same skills. Its origins are in England and the braid was developed by Shirley Berlin and Carol Goodman from straw plaiting.
This kit includes Luxury Italian Soutache (acetate), 3mm Etched Fire Polish beads, three colors of 6mm Top Drilled Rounds, and an Acrylic Magnetic Barrel clasp.
