About Jamie North

Jamie North is an avid beader and jewelry designer (SRAJD 1310). Her first published design appeared in Bead & Button magazine, June 2008 edition and came out in hard copy in the summer of 2009.  She is an active designer for Unicorne Beads and loves receiving all the new beads from them to create with.  Jamie is also a proud CREATE YOUR STYLE with CRYSTALLIZEDTM - Swarovski Elements Ambassador.

Jamie's designs have appeared in Bead Style, Step-by-Step Beads, Creative Jewelry and Beadwork.  Some of her pieces are scheduled to appear in Bead Style's special edition on Pearls in the Spring of 2010, Creative Jewelry in Summer 2010, and Stringing in the Fall.

Jamie’s background includes diverse and extensive experience as a Human Resource professional with particular focus on recruitment and training.  She has developed and delivered many courses on a variety of topics - now happily confining her training to jewelry-making and design.

Jamie has one grown son and she is a proud western Canadian girl.  She resides in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with her life partner, Kevin, and her two precious ‘fur babies’, Max and Tessa.
